THE Trump regime has withdrawn the United States from 66 international organisations today, with over half of them dedicated to the international law that the US has been forcing on every other country since the conclusion of World War 2, environmental protections, or the protection of women and children.
The US regime has stated that these goals amount to 'agendas' that are 'contrary' to the plans of the United States.
Amidst the regime's repression of transgender people under the guise of women's rights, they have removed their country from several international organisations dedicated to actually helping women, such as the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. According to Trump, organisations like this are 'wasteful', 'ineffective', and even 'harmful'.Â
Additionally, the regime has continued its war on literacy and education by leaving the international group 'Education Cannot Wait', a UN-backed organisation devoted to educating the children caught in the middle of the wars that America funds.
This withdrawal is motivated by a disdain among the so-called 'Administration of Peace' for peace and international coordination.
This intentional withdrawal from the international community leaves space for non-US powers, such as China, Russia, or Europe, to fill in the gaps, and if the US continues to crawl back into its shell, this will result in the end of the so-called 'Pax Americana' that has stabilised capitalism and allowed for it to exploit the world without any oversight.
